The purpose of the North Carolina Smart Grid Technical Forum is to gather leaders from utilities, academia, the private sector, and federal, state, and local government to delineate goals and objectives for the Smart Grid.

Forum participants will use this platform to explore the alignment of academic research and development programs with industry-based system solutions that would be applicable for the business community and the advancement of an array of electric power system grid innovative technologies.

Attendance at the North Carolina Smart Grid Technical Forum will earn participants - 6 PDHs (professional development hours) certified by North Carolina A&T's Center for Energy Research and Technology.
